Mr. Garrett has 28 years of experience in the private equity industry, including nine years of direct investment experience with Meritage and 19 years as an attorney specializing in private equity transactions with the national firm of Kirkland & Ellis and the Denver firm of Brownstein, Hyatt & Farber. He received his JD degree from Georgetown University and holds an undergraduate degree from Florida State University. Mr. Garrett currently serves as a director of Meritage portfolio company Pipeline Financial Group, and serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Cheyenne Capital Fund, the private equity investment arm of the State of Wyoming.
